All the Details on Prince William and Kate Middleton's Potential Summer Vacation Plans
July 8, 2022It’s summer which means every celebrity ever is frolicking around Italy while the rest of us scroll through Instagram suffering from acute FOMO. And yep, even the royal family will be going on a fancy vacation that we can all be jealous of.
Kate Middleton and Prince William’s kids have two months of summer vacation, and royal expert Ingrid Seward tells The Sun that they’ll be taking a trip to help occupy George, Charlotte, and Louis’ time.
“The three children are incredibly sporty and, of course, their parents are too,” she reports. “The focus will very much be on outdoor pursuits, with swimming, fishing, walking, riding and sailing.”
Ingrid notes that the couple will likely make a return to the private island of Mustique, saying “It’s a long holiday so I suspect that Carole and Michael Middleton, as grandparents, will probably have the kids to themselves for a little bit of the summer. They usually go up to Balmoral to spend time with the Queen and the rest of the family for a while and, this year, I think they will also go abroad for a short time, probably to Mustique, because William and Kate will want a change of scenery.”

Wills and Kate haven’t been to Mustique since 2019 due to the pandemic, but they’ve been known to stay on the island in a villa with exclusive staff and total privacy.
Um, sounds amazing, and also apparently they’re expected to go to Balmoral as well. Jealous does not begin! To cover it!
