In her statement, she said: "I am devastated to share the news of my husband’s passing. He was my best friend and I loved him dearly.

"When I met Caleb he became my guardian angel and now he really is watching over me. Our families appreciate everyone’s sympathy and ask that you respect our privacy at this time."

Following her husband's death, Tammy shared a number of throwback snaps of the pair at Christmas, where they could be seen hugging in front of a Christmas tree.

A devastated Tammy captioned the post: "Rip sweet angel you will forever be missed and loved so much thank you Caleb for showing me real love and happiness," as she turned the comments off.

Tammy and Caleb entered into a quick romance, when they got married just a month after meeting at weight loss rehabilitation facility, Windsor Lane, based in Gibsonburg, Ohio last year.

The adorable ceremony, which saw 30 of their closest family and friends attend, was described as "magical" by Tammy, calling Caleb her "best friend."
