<\/p>\nASHLEY Cain has revealed a heart-breaking admission of "loneliness" and "guilt" following the passing of his little girl.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0MTV\u00a0alumni and former footballer, 33, is doting dad to tot Azaylia,\u00a0who died\u00a0from a rare form of\u00a0leukaemia\u00a0aged eight months in 2021.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Ashley broke down in tears as he opened up about the tot's health battle on ITV\u00a0reality show,\u00a0The Real Full Monty Christmas Special.<\/p>\n
Now he has revealed the lasting feelings of grief on Good Morning Britain's Thursday episode.<\/p>\n
It came as he supported the show's 1 Million Minutes campaign and ITV anchor Ben Shephard's role in supporting Sands United, a London-based football team for dads who have sadly lost a child.<\/p>\n
Ex sports star Ashley donated his time to play for the rival team and gushed over the group.<\/p>\n
He said: "It's so wonderful.<\/p>\n "I have done this the past two years and it's been an incredible day for me."<\/p>\n He then told how it was a platform for "voicing grief" and admitted: "You can feel so lonely.<\/p>\n "Other times, you can feel so guilty.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n "It is that opportunity to share your grief with other people and, for one day, learn how to smile again."<\/p>\n Earlier in the segment, Ashley told how the sporting group was "taking us back to before the most traumatic time of our life as parents."<\/p>\n Ashley previously left GMB host Susanna Reid close to tears as he detailed his latest physical challenge in aid of his late little girl.<\/p>\n And earlier this month, viewers saw the reality TV star – who has since embarked on a number of charity missions in Azaylia's name – with tears in his eyes as he spoke directly to camera on The Real Full Monty.<\/p>\n On the show, he said: "One morning, me and Safiyya [his then-partner and Azaylia's mum] just had a sense that it would be that morning.<\/p>\n "We wrapped our arms around Azaylia, and we counted her last breaths."<\/p>\n He confessed he was "angry" and had "demons" about her premature passing and admitted he didn\u2019t see \u201cany point and reason\u201d for him to exist.<\/p>\n Ashley added: "I just thought for once in my life because of her, I want to be the best person I can be.<\/p>\n "I want to achieve some amazing things cause I want her to know that it was because of her."<\/p>\n At the time of Azaylia's death,\u00a0Ashley\u00a0wrote on his\u00a0Instagram\u00a0page: "Rest in paradise princess. I will always hold you in my heart until I can hold you again in heaven."<\/p>\n Ashley shared his tot with ex\u00a0Safiyya Vorajee\u00a0– with the little girl diagnosed with\u00a0leukaemia\u00a0just two months after her birth.<\/p>\n Earlier this month,\u00a0Ashley told of the "guilt" he feels\u00a0after revealing he is set to become a dad for the second time.<\/p>\n Ashley will welcome a boy in January with his close friend – two years after his daughter's death.<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/newspress-collage-5sgs8v8hd-1703067424608.jpg\")
