EGPYT continue their qualification campaign for the African Cup of Nations with games against Niger and Nigeria.
The Pharaohs have already booked their place in the finals which they will be hosting this summer – but there's no place in the squad this week for a certain Mo Salah…
Why isn't Mo Salah playing for Egypt?
SALAH hasn't travelled with his Egyptian team-mates for their African Cup of Nations qualfiers.
Boss Javier Aguirre is looking to introduce new players into the international fold and as such has chosen to give the Liverpool forward a rest.
Currently Salah is undergoing a seven-game goal drought for the Reds but has shown no signs of fatigue in recent weeks.
But he's already played more than 40 games for Liverpool this season and the Egyptian gaffer appears to be cutting some slack.
The Pharaohs have already qualified for the finals and go into the games against Niger and Nigeria looking to try something new – with the country looking forward to hosting the tournament this summer.
Liverpool are fighting for a Premier League and Champions League double, with Jurgen Klopp is no doubt keen to see his star man return from the international break fit and firing.
