Who Meghan and Harry’s baby might be pals with – from celeb kids to royal totsMarch 17, 2019
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will welcome their first child any day now and they will start a new chapter of their lives as parents.
Like the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, it’s likely that Harry and Meghan will do everything they can to give Baby Sussex a ‘normal’ childhood.
Unlike their cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis it’s unlikely that he or she will ever be on the throne, so they will probably have a lot more freedom.
The Royal Baby will grow up in Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, so away from the hustle and bustle of London life.
With Meghan’s Hollywood background and Harry’s royal family tree the new baby is probably going to have some interesting friends.
We’ve had a look at some of the children Baby Sussex might end up being pals with.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis
Even though the Sussexes are leaving Kensington Palace and moving to Windsor, Princes William and Harry are likely to remain extremely close.
So we imagine the Royal Baby will grow up being good pals with his or her cousins George, Charlotte and Louis.
They will go to all the same Royal Family parties and it’s likely they will grow up spending Christmases together at Sandringham.
George will be five years older than his new cousin, so we expect he’ll be on hand to show him all the best places to play in the palaces.
The Mulroney children
Meghan’s best friend Jessica Mulroney is the proud mum to three adorable children.
Brian, John and Ivy all had very important roles in the Royal Wedding, acting as page boys and bridesmaid.
Even though they live a VERY long way away, we hope Baby Sussex gets to make some trips over to Canada to see them.
The family have a swimming pool in their garden, so it’s the perfect place for the kids to play.
The Clooney twins
George and Amal Clooney are good pals of Meghan and Harry, and often have the royal couple over for dinner at there Oxfordshire mansion.
In 2017 they welcomed twins Ella and Alexander – who would make the perfect playmates for Baby Sussex.
Mia and Lena Tindall
The Cambridge kids aren’t the only little royals keeping great-granny the Queen busy at the moment, and Zara and Mike Tindall’s two daughters will also be there for family play time.
Mia is five and her little sister Lena was born last year.
Maud and Isabella Windsor
Lord Frederick Windsor, the son of the Queen’s cousin Prince Michael of Kent, has two daughters who could be good pals for new baby.
Maud, five, is in Prince George’s class at school in Battersea, London.
Her younger sister Isabella is three.
The girls’ mum is actress Sophie Winkleman, best known for playing Big Suze in Peep Show.
Declan Donnelly and his wife Ali welcomed their first child, a baby girl, last year.
Harry has been good friends with Dec for years and they have worked on several TV shows together.
Little Isla will be about a year older than Baby Sussex, so another good play pal.
